Berberis aristata helps maintain normal cholesterol levels
Having high levels of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides and low levels of HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) circulating in the blood plasma increases the risk of developing arteriosclerosis and, therefore, cardiovascular disease.
