It is an oil obtained from the seeds of the fruit of the Argan tree (Argania spinosa L.).

Argan oil contains 45% oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid belonging to the Omega-9 group, and 35% linoleic acid, essential polyunsaturated fatty acid, of the Omega-6 group.

It contains major natural antioxidants such as polyphenols (caffeic acid, oleuropein…), carotenoids and tocopherols (vitamin E). These antioxidants enable its ability to neutralise free radicals, repair the skin and delay skin aging.

Argan oil moisturises and protects the skin, deeply and intensely, delays photoaging, diminishes the appearance of wrinkles on the skin, restores damaged skin and balances the sebaceous secretion. In addition, it hydrates and nourishes the hair, and adds shine and softness, restores damaged hair and nourishes and revitalises the scalp. It also strengthens brittle nails.

noVadiet produces its Argan oil, Dargán eco, by first cold pressing seeds from organic crops in Morocco.
