Glucomannan in the context of an energy restricted diet contributes to weight loss. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of 1g each, together with 1-2 glasses of water, before meals and in the context of an energy-restricted diet.

To lose weight you have to reduce body fat mass and this happens when you need more energy than you ingest. To increase the energy expended, daily physical activity must be increased. To reduce the amount of energy ingested, you will have to take less caloric and high fibre foods; and it will be helpful to reduce the feeling of hunger.

Saciatrap combines glucomannan with three other groups of ingredients to optimise its usefulness.
